Verizon Wireless recently started carrying the Samsung Glyde (SCH-u940), which retails for $249.99 (after signing up for a two-contract, or $149.99 if you buy the phone online at Verizon's Web site. The Glyde is billed by Samsung as a "touchscreen phone for generation text," with emphasis on its 2.8-inch screen, as well as slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The Glyde's camera is 2 megapixels.
